THANKSGIVING DONATIONS:

Recent surveys show that approximately 22% of Nova Scotians are living with food insecurity. Seniors are choosing between taking their medications and eating. Families are struggling to feed their children. The economy continues to waver and there are more and more people running out of food before the next cheque comes in.

Our own Freedom Kitchen feeds up to 450 people each Monday and provides over 25 food hampers every month. Our community partner, Beacon House, has been a respected community provider since 1985.

You can support Freedom Kitchen and Beacon House throughout the year by donating canned goods to the collection bin in the Narthex. Monetary donations to Freedom Kitchen can be made at donations
