Chef Yves (the chef who has been helping out with our church suppers) has been busy with this harvest's bounty. He has prepared some soups to help you get ready for the colder weather ahead.
We have tomato, red pepper & tomato, and tomato & garlic soup all prepared. You simply need to add your choice of dairy when preparing the soups at home. Milk, greek yogurt, sour cream or cream - you choose how rich and creamy you'd like your soup to be!

Since being founded in 2017 by Music Director Stephanie McKeown, Atlantic Sound Machine have rocked Halifax and surrounding environs with timeless hits through the eras in a big band format. Come to Knox for 7pm October 2 and experience their dynamic energy in person. From “Feeling Good” to “I’m Still Standing,” from “Autumn Leaves” to “Man! I Feel Like a Woman,” this evening promises to have you floating along the soundwaves for days to come. Our Director of Music John Lindsay-Botten takes a turn or two as guest vocalist, too! And note: dancing in the aisles is permitted.

June 10, 2025, will mark the United Church of Canada’s 100th anniversary—an opportunity to honour our past and look to the future!
At Knox we will celebrate on
Sunday, June 8th with a special Anniversary worship service with a hymn sing to begin the service and music from the originating UCC service and beyond. We'd like to encourage everyone to dress in clothing of that period.
Immediately after the service we will host a COLD potluck luncheon with some fun activities to follow.
